There are some MLB rumors circulating around that the Texas Rangers might be interested in trading the New York Mets outfielders Carlos Beltran and Francisco Rodriquez. On the other hand the Rangers’ president Nolan Ryan has outspokenly denied all the reports claiming that they do not have any interest in either of the two. Many sports channels such as ESPN refer to this denial as downplaying because these rumors have a little truth in them. These rumors are being taken into too much consideration because after the last game between the Mets and the Rangers where the Rangers lost to the Mets, many bystanders believe that Carlos was trying his best to showcase himself to the Rangers. After this unbelievable show, then there is pretty much truth in all these rumors.
On the other hand, Francisco Rodriguez played his part well enough and did not show any signs that he was trying to prove his worth to the Rangers after he allowed two runs on two hits on the game between the Rangers and the Mets. The Rangers’ president has given reasons why he is sure that he is not looking to trade the two. He believes that Beltran is a big risk that is not worth taking.
